AAAI 2017正式開幕 頒布多個獎項 | AAAI 2017 |

美國太平洋時間2017年2月6日早上8:30，AAAI 17大會開幕式（Welcome and Opening Remarks）在舊金山Hilton Union Square酒店continental ballroom 4-6舉行。開幕式上還宣布了新選出的AAAI Senior Member以及AAAI Fellow名單，并頒發了多個獎項。 

 大會組委會宣布了多項關于AAAI的數據：  

參會人數，AAAI 2017注冊參會人數1692人，為近年來最高； 

從歷史數據看，2013年是AAAI論文數量的一個低谷，而從這一年開始，AAAI加快了國際化的步伐，連續4年論文連創新高，今年大會收到的投遞論文為2571篇，為歷史最高； 

大會發表的論文總數為639篇，錄取率為24.9%； 

從主題來看，Machine Learning毫無懸念奪得投遞數和錄取數的冠軍，2-5名依次是NLP、Application、Search/Planning、Vision； 

從論文標題看，Latent、Estimation、Kernel這三個單詞出現率最高，其他出現率較高的單詞還包括：Process、Algorithms、Application、Structured、Fast、Tracking、Solving. （說句題外話，知乎有大神總結過CV和Deep Learning類灌水論文標題套路，CV灌水文多用{consistent/robust/joint/regularized/generalized/discriminated/structured}) + {learning/coding/dictionary/representation} + {based/for} + 經典保留曲目(如{image segmentation/verification/identification})，而Deep Learning灌水文多用“ deep feature for/based XXXX”。

AI君對比了一下，上述灌水詞幾乎都沒有出現，看來大會的論文質量還是可以的）  

 在Keyword中出現頻率最高的10個單詞分別為：Data、Learning、Model、Algorithm、Methods、Proposed、Information、Network、Different；  

錄取率最高的領域包括：Game Theory、Search/Planning、Intefrated System Track、Uncertainly、Cognitive systems track、Vision、Comuter sustainbility track、Knowledge Representation、Machine Learning、MAS、Robotics、Application、Human、NLP； 

大會還頒發了多個獎項：Deployed Application Awards獎項頒發給了“Large Scale OccupationalSkills Normalization for Online Redcruitment”和“Phase Mapper：An AIPlatform toAccelerate High Throughout Materials”，Robert S.Engelmore Memorial Award Leture頒發給了David Aha，AAAI 2016 Blue Sky Winner頒發給了“The AI Rebellion：Changing the Narrative”、“Moral Desision Making Frameworks for Artificial Intelligence”和“Getting More Out of the Exposed Structured in Constraint Programming Models of Combinatorial Problems”，杰出服務獎（Distinguished Service）頒發給了Jim Hendler，AAAI/EAAI杰出教育者獎項頒發給了Sebastian Thrun、AAAI Classic Paper頒發給了Dieter Fox等人在1999年佛羅里達大會上撰寫的“Monte Carlo Localization：Efficient Position Estimation for Mobile Roots”，Feigenbaum Prize頒發給了斯坦福大學的Yoav Shoham。

同時大會還宣布了三名高級會員和7位新當選Fellow，三位高級會員是：Alessandro Cimatti、Xuelong Li（中科院）和Nathan R. Sturtevant,7名Fellow是：Ronen I. Brafman， Eduard H. Hovy, Tommi S. Jaakkola, Maurizio Lenzerini, Fangzhen Lin(香港科技大學)、Dale Schurmans, Munidar P. Singh.
